when i struck the deer i was IN THE ROAD....and had 3 vehicals slow....look....then take off. 1st to stop....a fellow biker.

My rule today is that when the misses is on the back, which is 70% of the time...I ride pretty close to the speed limits and probably to around only 60% as hard as I would if solo...taking extra care when moving with or through traffic and built up areas ....
It is good practice to go slower sometimes too...
