its not a law to wear one in pa, but i wear one all the time. i have an hjc, shoei, afx and an icon.

 

I just got a ICON Mainframe helmet and it is alright, reminds me of HJC as far as fit and such..I sytill prefer my Arai's

 

Skid down the road on your head just once and that is all you will need to see the benefits of wearing a helmet.

I crashed once and if I had NOT been wearing a helmet, I would have lost a sizeable chunk of my forehead. Looking at the damage to the helmet told the entire story. I actually remember seeing my watch get ripped from my arm and it was a steelbanded watch.

Anyway, wearing a helmet is just the smart thing to do. I never ride without wearing mine.

Lesson was learned the first time.

 

Even though here in texas there is no helmet law, after seeing some of my buddies go down I always have mine with me. I might not wear it if I'm like crusin downtown on firday night, but I always have it with me just in case. KBC TK-9

I always wear one and make my passengers wear one too, yep even going around the block. I wear a gloss black Shoei RF-1000. Looks nice with my gloss black 05 Tribal 600rr

 

ALWAYS...could not ride without one....highsided last year and tested out my HJC....my head would have cracked open like a bad melon without it!

just got back from bike week in sc. no law. i will say this, we went down the strip and speed was about 5 mph and we didnt use the skid lid, it was such a strage feeling, when we would see cops it was like we had done something wrong. it was a great feeling though. on the way back to the room we saw a nasty crash and with out getting to nasty, i will always have one on, it was so bad i put it on before i even go out side to get on my bike, well not that bad but its something that ill never be able to get out of my head, they are tring to do away with it hear in va. i will always put it on.
