got the news and my buddy just had his replaced....ALL PAID thru michelin....take offs, shipping, remounts, and the tires were almost junk. I like the fact that they stand up for whats right. Other companies screw up and you get fuct. you only have 2 tires might as well be good ones, course some people only use one tire...MUUUAHHHHHHAHAHAHA

I just put the tires on 3 weeks ago.And now the front one gots to be replaced.A buddy of mine that i ride with put them on for me.Now i have to take it to an authorized dealer.I just hate the hassel of taking it to a shop and not knowing how it will be handled.

That is my problem. Im glad that Mich is takin care of the tire costs an every thing. BUT I really like to know that my tire is going to be put back on correctly! (not just mounted/ balanced, buthaving the rim bolted up and all)I knowthat in some of theshops around here there are 16 yr old dudes workin in the shop doing the stuff the real mechanic's dont want to like taking tires off and putting them on bikes... I know they dont really give a crap either. That is how they managed to lose my rear spacer and scratch the finish off myrimthe last time they changed my tire. That was 8 weeks ago, I have STILL not heard from them. Thanks to my buddies wrecked 954,I was able to get a spacer even though the gouges in my rims can not be fixed...
I am going to a different shop for the recall since they deal Mich tires too. I know they have young bucks workin inback but sinceI have notheard anything negative about their shop practices Ithink I will try them.

Ive had bad luck too moto. I had my front replaced by a new shop here in town and all I got was an unbalanced (unless this tire is EXACTLY the same as the last.... hahaha) tire that leaks air and big gouges on my rim. How hard is it to pay attention to what your doing and do a good job? I dont get it. Im hoping they tore it a bit and thats why it leaks... seems like it gets to 20 psi and wont drop any further so I dont know... just keep fillin it up for now?
