Agreed, italian is easy, you just need good fresh ingredients, although home made pasta is hard to get the texture correct, but it is doable. Asian food is much harder for me to cook, I'll definitely get takee-outee for a few times, then try it.
This isn't very easy to make at home, IMO. It's not like Italian food. Any douschebag can make a pasta dish as good as the Olive Garden (not so great anyway) or even as good as a very highly regarded Italian restaurant, b/c the process isn't difficult, and the ingredients are easy to find.

There are lots of other differences, but I could go on forever... You definitely need to try it. Hell, everyone should, at least once. When prepared correctly, it's an amazing dish. So much more than just another noodle soup.
