Painting Engine cover
looks like the ALSACORP.COM has nice products, but you should be able to wet sand it with 1200 grit, clean it with a water/dishsoap mix, and then spray it with a rattle can.
hey, i would recommend alsacorp to anyone but i dont think they have high temprature paint.
anyway, that paint it too expensive to paint engine covers if you asked me.
i painted my muffler and mid pipe one time and people thought it came out nice. they didnt even know i painted it until i said something.
i used low gloss black Duplicolor "engine enamel" ceramic 500oF. never burnt of evaporated from the metal.
btw, why would you want to paint your cover white. if you have a yellow/black bike, why not paint it black?
anyway, just wash the cover, prime it, no need for sanding, and paint it.
