Default Painting Stator Cover

Instead of getting a carbon cover for $85 I was thinking of painting my stator cover while I have my bike all tore apart. I was going to use high temp matte black. My cover has a little rash on it right now and I figured I could mask it off and spray it while its on the bike. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so how did it turn out and do you have some pics of it done? I know I saw someone on here that had done it but I can't find it. Thanks in advance.

Send it to TRG Coating and have it powdercoated in any color you want...Not expensive, and will outlast paint any day.
