Do you have to buy grips open on both ends, or can you just cut the circle out of the outer side?

mine came w/holes, Gel "ProGrips" got them on E-Bayfor $20.00, CBR speciffic, atleast i hope when I go to put them on. i would assume you can just trim the ends, iam sure there is an expert on line right now, he just needs to read the thread. obviously iam not he good luck!!!!

Any motorcycle specific grips would already be open on both ends -- like a toilet paper roll.
