Default New Grips, Help

Fellas, I did something really stupid last night. I ordered some new grips for my bike, and when I installed the left side, i pushed them in a little too far, and now I have a small gap betweem them and the bar ends. Is there any way I can back them off a little without damaging them?

yes...if you have an air gun, blow between grip and clip on to get it to expand. otherise, wedge something in there and slowly pull it out...i would use some more grip glue if you do that as well..or hair spray.

Whew, I didnt have an air gun, so i used wd-40. It took a while to penetrate, but i was able to work it free. Then i cleaned it with lighter fluid to get the greasy film off, then reapplied with glue. Thanks for the help.
