I bought a stock can off a moderator on sportbikes.net. It finally showed up and it won't go on.
There is extra baffling/stuff inside the can and the stock header's "cone" won't go inside far enough to bolt it up.

02-03 exhausts are supposed to be same. I was looking for some concrete information off some website,
but that's got to be what it is. He is from/bike is from SA, Cali btw.

Any confirmations?

 

Just cut the cone off....wont effect that performance at all
Easy to do all you need is an hacksaw or hand held grinder

 

Don't have either. I ended up just getting back my money but paying the shipping back to him. I'll probably just fast foward my plans to getting an aftermarket can.
