F4i Exhaust differences
CBR Specific exhaust question
I have a 2003 F4i where no lambda sonde is installed or needed (and tuned with Wiseco fuel controller)
I just bought a 2007 F4i exhaust that has a hole for the lambda sonde. Apart from that they appear close to identical. I wanted a new stainless system using an aftermarket set of motad downpipes and a new stock exhaust. Got a good deal, but now i'm not sure if its useable.
Could I simply plug the lambda sensor hole with this:
and be done with it.
Side note: It will get tuned on a dyno, so i'm not worried about mixture, i'm only worried about possible flow restrictions.

Indeed I am, you can tell because of naming differences or do your 07's sell without exhausts haha. I got it for 25 euro's which would be about 30 dollars, and its absolutely like new. Not a scratch or scuff on it, nothing, happy buyer here.
Cheers for the answer. They had a slight difference around where the sensor mounts, but then i'll just ignore that.

lol yeah no f4i model in 07 in america, just the RR. The plug wont hinder flow at all. Think of it this way, an entire aftermarket slip on exhaust won't change flow enough to need tuning, so this tiny little plug won't even make a dent [pun intended].
