Default Operating Engineers

Im scheduled to take the test for the apprenticeship program into the Operating Engineers...are there any Union Operators out there to answer a few questions ...?

I went through a bunch of BS about 2 years ago to get that far then pissed off the test completely. Just wasn't sure I wantedt o sit in a front-loader or a crane all day long for the next 20 years.

The money is tops, no doubt. Girlfriends dad is the one that put a word in for me, dude makes over $40 an hour (won't tell how much exactly). Works a straight 40 hour week, no bs. Done so for the last 22 years.

Im fairly confident on passing the test..its all basic 9th grade math comp and mechanical understanding...so its not the test im worried about ...i went to school to get my operator certs and have come up on the opposite side of fourtunate with the schooling..i was just curious as to what the program entailed......
