No problem man - I will ALWAYS regret selling my TTZ. One day when I have enough garage space I will buy another one. I loved those cars.....

I always wanted a vette when I was a kid, then I bought a 75 l48. It was a good deal fairly fun to cruise in but slower than oprah in the hundred yard dash!

When the gas crunch hit in 1973 auto makers downsized cars. The Mustang II for example was a down sized car. The Corvette stayed large and was a gas burner. Only doctors and lawyers could afford them so Chevy soften the suspension and put luxuries like power windows in. Those years are that of a slushy, heavy, under powered Vett. They were not the muscle car they were in previous years. It was not until 1984 (C4) that it regrew it's muscle and became top dog again. Also, somewhere, I think 1973, was the first year that the body was isolated from the frame by rubber donuts. Until then the were a harsh ride.
