thats because it has moisture in it..

scabs are kind of funny the turn a yellowish color when wet (or so to say) its kinda like when you get out of the pool and your fingers and toes are pruny...

leave it out of the gauze, just keep cleaning it twice a day but its been over a week you shouldn't need to keep it contained any longer before you create a infection..

infections are very common from improperly maintained wounds...
by wrapping it you are containing and creating heat which is very important for bacteria to form and spread..

if you need better explanation you have my number..

Yeah its been out of the bandage since i posted that picture. I went out today to try and see if i could sit on my bike and i couldnt bend my leg enough. I never realised how aggressive the position is. Its already been 8 dang days since ive ridden. I cant do this chit! I need that bike under me and on a road NOW!

I feel bad for you guys who have to put it away for winter. I would hate that. Itll be another week before i can bend it to wear i need to.
