this is also affecting my sale.
a guy came to look at it today, put 1000 in my hand, rode it around, then came back and said, id buy it now for 1000 if i could shift gears.
2 missed sales at 1000bucks.

Does he have any oakley, gucci, louis, bvlgari, or cavalli or similar sunglasses belts clothes whatever? anything similar? if he does go and break whatever it is he has and replace it with a cheap chinese knock off version that costs half the price and be like what? same thing. Im sure hes got one good pair of sunglasses you can break and replace with $2 ones from 711....and then accept the $30 windscreen over the zero gravity.

Your room mate is @ fault here. He took your bike and then allowed another person to ride it without your express permission. Licensing doesn't actually factor into this - unless the authorities are involved.
I'd compare this to him grabbing any other thing that belongs to you and trashing it - say you had a nice TV and he just decided to let someone else use it and in the process it got broken - he owes you for his actions and lack of better judgement.
If he doesn't come thru with the right thing - I'd go look for the exhaust pipe.

i would be livid and he should expect to at least buy it off you or pay for the repairs to include a new frame.

Oh and yes a wind screen is a wind screen but "if you break it, you buy it" is an unspoken rule along with if you borrow it you return it in the same condition if not better. So if you had a ZG windscreen than you should get a A ZG wind screen or equivelent.
