You said you did highway so I recommend you a comfy ride. Not sure on a 954 but I know a 929 is no where near a comfy ride.

For an "all around" bike, I would suggest the F4i. The addition of fuel injection will make you a very happy man. Also, it is very comfy. I am trying to sell my F4i and upgrade to an RR, but sitting on the RR was very different. Alot more hunched over and my legs where much closer to my chest. Onarom said it best when he suggested you get a bike that fits your riding style. What do you want to do...corner, run a 1/4 mile, ride miles and miles, commute? That makesa big difference. If you want something that does everything well, you want an F4i. You can probably get one that is a few years old for about $3500. Good luck. Make sure you sit on everything before you buy, and decide by what feels good to you. It is all about you, brudda!

Going to agree with Brandon on this one. The VFR sounds like what you need, based on the description of your riding habits Honda does have a few dealerships where you are allowed to test ride something. They are hard to find though, and it is going to be even harder to find one with a VFR available for test ride. It's not stocked in great numbers. Most dealerships only have one or two on the showroom floor, and I suggest you take a hard look at it
