Default Near death experience

Not for me, but for some kid (under 21 license plate) riding w/o helmet,on newerRR about 5 feet off the back bumper of a SUV in the right hand lane (4 lane road + shared turn lane). The kid goes to pass w/o signalling at the same time the SUV goes to pass the person in front of them w/o signalling. The kid on the bike gets lucky because we have a turn lane where a median should be and guns it around the SUV only to almost get caught in a squeeze from the front and back. There about 4 things that could have happened that would have killed him and only one thing that was possible that saved him, the kid got lucky, but it is actions like that the give a sportbike riders a bad name.

I guess in the old days there was natural selection from who was smart enough not to get eaten by dinosaurs, now it is who is smart enough not to die on the road. Be safe out there and pass on those genes.

Damn lucky *** kid. Is it just the kids without common sense or the parents not teaching them the right things? I think it is a little of both.

I agree one zillion percent, P.G. That kid had no idea that a guardian angel just saved his life. He will be out soon enough making all sport bike riders look like idiots!
