Glad you are o.k. From experience I can tell you the soreness kicks in big time about the 2nd day ... especially the neck and any joints that got knocked around.
I have sat out today by the lock in the sun and its been incredibly soothing, I am just taking it real easy ..it hurts but on the Ibuprofen etc its all quite bearable really :-)

Remember to eat something before you chow the Ibuprofens, or else its really bad for the lining of your stomach. Ibuprofens are also really bad for your liver as well, so try to take it easy hey?

I hate pill popping ... never been one until this year, but I need them right now ... I only ever take them after food too :-)

Only cosmetic damage? ... Thats great Jules!! How fast do you think that you were going when you hit? Im glad you were being a sensible kitteh and wearing your gear.

"Jolly good show!!!" on riding the bike again. I assure you that next time promises to be better.
Well I must have been up around 40mph but I was under heavy braking so actual impact speed could well have been less than 20mph its so hard to say really ...I do know it was loud ..that is what struck me the loudness of the bang ..lol

I have some pictures from my phone now but am currently hunting the cable to the PC ... it definitely looks cosmetic to me and my brother just checked it over too and he agrees :-)

Wow ! I was just gonna go out for a ride, in leather racing suit, because I have not for awhile. It has been raining nonstop for months. I bet I woulda done the same thing, or worse. At the end of the season I am at my worst, safety-wise. I am overjoyed that you are not disabled ! This thread is a reminder to me to stay vigilant in the saddle. I shall pray for a speedy recovery for you and the bike. Pace, Gris.
