they knocked it over to see if it had lojack....


and mine stays inside...in my living room at night and when I am not around

they obviously knew the guy was out of town......

thieves with steal cars and parkthem in a store parking lot and wait......this is what they did...knock the bike over.....and wait.....my lojack has multiple contacts....my dad....my friend.....someone would have come and checked it out.

Even though you said it three times, I fail to see the smart. Knocked it over?! What thief damages the goods they're about to steal? I think you did it and are just bragging now.
You beat me to it...I don't see anything smart about that. Could have saved the bike by just stealing it at night. It's like robbing a bank by setting the money on fire and collecting the ashes later.

Take your friend out for a beer or something. There are very few times in life he will be feeling worse. He can probably use the moral support of his riding buddies till his insurance pays out or he gets a new ride. I got lucky when two of my bikes got stolen and got them back, but I remember how bummed out I was.
