they obviously knew the guy was out of town......
thieves with steal cars and parkthem in a store parking lot and wait......this is what they did...knock the bike over.....and wait.....my lojack has multiple contacts....my dad....my friend.....someone would have come and checked it out.

Take your friend out for a beer or something. There are very few times in life he will be feeling worse. He can probably use the moral support of his riding buddies till his insurance pays out or he gets a new ride. I got lucky when two of my bikes got stolen and got them back, but I remember how bummed out I was.
