Default Friend's dad had bike stolen

Hi all. First thread posted on this forum from me, and I wish it wasn't this subject matter but...
The father of a co-worker of mine got his 2005 CBR1000 Repsol Edition stolen on the 29th of July, here in Wichita, KS -from his workplace in broad daylight, no less. Bike was in immaculate condition, and in addition to the value of the bike itself, he has thousands of dollars in mods, including $3000 aluminum wheels! This would be equivalent to a death in the family for me, I sh** you not!
We all know that this bike is surely long gone, but long gone from Wichita, KS maybe CLOSE to some of you, so, why not put the word out just in case someone comes across it. For me, there are enough aftermarket parts on this bike to make it distinct enough, if I saw it somewhere, to at least have the cops investigate.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention, these ***** came back to his workplace two days later and were stopped while rolling away his '02 RC51! They got away unfortunately, and the only damaged seemed to be to the steering lock/ignition mounting, if I understand correctly.
Help a fellow biker - keep your eyes open for it!

Clock read about 25,800 miles at time of theft.
Mods include:
Hamaguchi Full Titanium Racing Exhaust
Color Matched Carrozzoria Forged Aluminum Wheels
Power Commander
BMC Race Air Filters
Woodcraft Frame Sliders
Vortex Ciip-on Handlebars
Clear Alternatives Integrated Tail Light and Turn Signals
Custom Made License Plate Mount
Custom Made Reverse Pattern Shifter
Galfer Superbike Brake Lines
Galfer Front and Rear Wave Brake Rotors
Sportek Black Chrome Windscreen
Ram GPS Mount
Speedohealer
Flush Mount LED Front Turn Signals
Nearly New Conti Motion Tires

This is the CBR600F2 forum... Maybe this should be in a more general forum?

Sorry to hear about this. We've had a few other members w/ bikes stolen recently. As a victim of bike theft myself, I know that in-the-gut feeling. I didn't get mine back, never found. Hope better for your friend's dad.

My RC51 was attempted to be stolen in broad daylight in a busy Costco parking lot by a group of illegals in a van. Thankfully, I came out of the store just as they started to move it & started yelling at them. They took off like roaches. I've written about this in other posts. Thankfully, my RC didn't take any damage & didn't fall over. Amazing how this group of illegals could obviously be doing this in daylight in a busy Costco parking lot & other people didn't care to take notice. :\

Hope your friend's dad get's some resolution soon.
