yea i have like 90 bucks to my name and just found out i have a small nail in my back tire... that leaks about 6 psi per day.
so im still riding now but i need to get a new tire. as cool as mc's are, adn as good as tehy makeu feel, theyre not a necessity. maybe u can sell it and make a profit and use that to buy a bike that is paid off? i mean it does suck that u might lose ur bike, but ur also riding a 06 RR, try getting something older and more affordable

Well, I wish you luck with getting the bike situation handled. I wasn't able to help out Blindin at the time, and unfortunetlly this time is no diffrent. Got bitched out last night for not reporting some reciepts to my SO because of how tight the checking account is. $20 of it was to become a contributor to this site .

I just sold a set of R6 carbs that I had lying around on ebay, so maybe you have some golf clubs and other items taking up space that you can sell off in place of the bike. I'd rather have my bike than a TV!

**** man I feel for you. It seems money troubles is quite common with all of us right now. I'm closing on my new condo next month and I think I bit off more than I can chew with financing my new '07 in october. I have so many bills that I keep up on (no late payments yet) but im barely treading water. I'm working mad overtime to do what I gotta do for my quality of life. Working 3 AM to 3 PM a few days a week in a factory doesnt actually help this so called quality lol. It does help with the money though. In May we get our tax refund bonus or whatever it is called. You should be getting $600? Hold out til then my friend. Cancel your tv cable, I did a year ago and dont miss it at all. Lower your cell phone plan to something cheaper. Get cheaper internet service. Opt out of your 401k at work to get that extra amount in your hands each week for awhile. Lots of sacrifices need to be made in hard times. I'm doing it all it seems. Put that noggin to work. In a few years, my truck and bike will be paid off. That will be an extra $500+ a month in my pocket and things will be good again lol. One thing I WILL NOT do is sell my bike! I'm loving this beast more than anything right now.

This economy will suck until Xmas. Things will get worse before they get better, everyone will feel financially worse this summer. I was listening to CNBC this morning and the general feeling is early 2009 the economy will make a comeback. This summer, the full effect of high oil prices will be felt.

You need a sustainable planbecause I think the disappearence of BlindinOrange has made people gun shy to just send money. There are some good suggestions already posted by Manowar, but maybe a new bike is a luxury that just doesn't work right now for you. Maybe others that are bike shopping now can learn from you.I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I think people have realized that they have spent every dime they can, and have not saved anything for a rainy day and from everything I hear, the weather is getting ****ty.

CBRFREEK- how much do you own on the bike? I mean what would you need to pay it off?

Dude we are all feeling the pain. In the last 7-8 days I have spent like $70.00 in fuel alone for just the bike and my little car. I have a bad *** Dakota that I can not offord to drive at this point. It has to sit in my moms garage with just storage insurance on it. If i bring it out to take to truck shows I will be broke betrween fuel and added insurance. I live alone so I know how it is to have to save, but it sounds to me like it's time the bike goes.

let me know the pay off on the bike and where you live and I will help put the word out for it.

I may have an older bike, but she paid off and not to bad on insureance. It like the old saying 'The things we own end up owning us"
