I know how that feels. I almost got hit 4 times yesterday alone. Twice by the same car, someone eating while driving, and someone not paying attention. [>:]

When I started riding my father told me "the second you throw your leg over that bike you become the invisible man." I don't think my Dad has ever said a more true statement.

This is definitely another case of the "Invisible Man" on the bike. Manny's second article describes how the accident occurred. The car did a left turn in front of the motorcycle. She should have yield and the bike shouldn't have sped (50/50 fault?), but the bike gets all the blame in the write-up.
yeah, i mean theres no question that he shouldn't have been speeding but cmon she should have heard it coming down the road...if not hear it definitely look and see it, but yeah all the blame goes to him.
+1 on invisible man. The nest advice Ive ever received is "Ride like you're invisible." I once rode about 30 miles at night without a tail light (I didn't know it until I got home), but didn't have any problems, because I was already acting like they couldn't see me.
I know how you feel Leveltwo, i just turned 17 and last year((me being 16)) i had to pay over $2000 for my insurance...this year i only pay $750 but i only have a 250...don't know how I can go fast but that's how the world goes 'round [:@]
