Beware the Military Police now are ticketing for aftermarket exhaust. Its gotten way out of hand. Dont try to fight it either because your going to have to bring a whole bunch of **** to prove your "aftermarket" exhaust is DOT approved and meets or exceeds CA decibel rating.

Ya right have fun on that one.

I'm sure some devil...or squid will appreciate the scoop, thanks. But what the hell, are the PMO's looking for aftermarket exhausts or ticketing those who are wrapping it out loud as hell. Would suck if they saw you easin down a road and saw your 2 bros or Jardine and gave you a ticket for simply having an aftermarket pipe.

I hope they attack the Harley guys the same way, their crap is way louder. Here at March ARB they just worry about the gay reflective vest [:@]

The reasoning behind this whole crackdown. The Marines lose more guys to motorcycle wrecks a year than we do in a combat zone in Iraq. So the Marines decided to re write the order on owning motorcycles. They also referenced some CVC codes. Pretty much anything that is not DOT approved is going to get a ticket. Similiar to what a CHP officer would give you if he was a dick.

I think if they are going to go that extremists on us, then they need to crack down on the fast and furious cars with the huge *** coffee can exhaust and the big *** redneck trucks with the illegal lift and dual mufflers with glass packs and the whole nine yards.

Yo dude, I didn't know you were located in pendelton. Good times with the mp. I figured the dudes on your side would be the last to give you trouble about your bike.

i don't see that happening on the navy side of things, there are so many senior people in the navy who get harley's you would think it's required after a certain amount of years or something, because of that they don't mess with us younger guys and our sportbikes.

Yea, also here at 32nd Street they ticket you for having your visor up... I was coming into work and got pulled over for having my visor up for a minute. A co-worker told me that they rushed pass her to get to me.... They started calling me son and young man until I showed my ID card. Like that should matter!!! Nothing ever came of it but wasted time on my part...

Was that a Marine or one of those federal cops? Federal cops always give me a problem like "You better keep your high beams on" or "Keep both wheels on the grounds" What is that about??!
