Never remember just one point, i too think its in my blood and not just bikes either give me anything with an engine/motor and i`m away in my own little world. Both my brothers have bikes, but i am the sportsbike freak, they both ride standard `street` bikes but that was never enough for me.

 

i was into dirbikes when i was younger but at the time i never took an interest into getting a street bike. My stepdad had a 1995 Honda Shadow 1100 that was fun to be a passenger on. IT wasnt until i was 20 that i nfound a bike that said "You need to ride on the street" Kawi Z1000 black and red w/ those 4 gold exhaust pipes....

 

For me there has been at least one bike every year that i just had to have but did not git lol anyhow at first for me it was the 1978 works 250 yz of bob hannah that just blew me away man those woks dirtbikes were well took my breath away everytime

 

You guys may make fun but the bike im raiding right now is my dream bike. I love the color orange and Honda came out with the perfect shade for 2006. I have seen many of bikes but this one truly is very special to me and its my first so that makes it a little more special.

 

I'm embarrased to say it but a ZZR 250. A mate showed up with it one day and I knew I wanted a road bike

 

The thing that gave me a push from dirt (3 & 4 Wheelers) to street was a show called " Street Hawk". Anyone remember that ? It was about some special cop who rode around on a hopped up bike equiped with rockets, machine guns, turbo thrusters (whatever those were) and what not fighting crime. It was on in the 80s about the same time as "The A Team", "Night Rider", and "Air Wolf".
