the forks are MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH better :-) They put the wheel on the balancer and said it looks good. There are still lots of little details to fine tune but for the most part the big things are coming together now :-)

 

I hate the little things. I've got so many little things wrong with my bike. I guess that's what makes winter nice - bike doesn't move, gives me time to tinker.

Glad to see you're getting your baby all back together =) I hated the month or so I went without mine this summer, can't imagine being without it for seven months!

 

yeah it's sucked but some other things had to be taken care before the bikes - whether txn_driver and I liked it or not... What really made it crappy was the fact that his was down as well, from just little stuff that it really wasn't safe to ride with - so we were completely without a two-wheeler for a longggg time. I'm just itching to get on the road. I've moved home since then and every road I see I'm thinking in the back of my mind "This would be a blast on the bike"

 

The bike is coming along, but I hate the grab bar on the tail.

 

me too - well to be honest Ireally dont like the seat at all. We are looking into doing a split seat conversion on it a little later in it's lifetime. Shoot at this point though, I'd be thrilled to death with a F2 if it cranked and ran... I'm just missing my transportation

 

^^^ Glad you are coming along TX_girl! You guys have all year riding weather in Texas, dont'cha? Maybe you should rent a bike to get your "fix".

 

LOL maybe I would but I'm pouring every last penny I've got into getting mine roadworthy :-) Seriously, we're eating Ramen noodles this week...

 

YeahI don't like my seat to well eaither, but I don't feel like spending the money and time to convert it to a split tail.Well I'm glad you ae getting her back together.
