I am sorry man, truely sorry for your situation.I just dont have anything that would make any of it better. There just arent any laws that protect men in cases like this. I think you may be able to file an injuction to prevent her from getting the abortion.. but this is only a temporary thing and the judge will most likely let her get it in the end. The only thing it could do is buy some time.

Dude, I am sorry for you. Regardless of intentions or situations, right or wrong, you have convictions and I will give you props for that. My hope is that you have the strength to handle the outcome ... whatever it may be.

I surely do not want to give you false hope. I think its a long shot, but you could call a lawyer and ask to have an injuction placed on the matter. also, I found this contact information on the web..

Fight if you must to keep your child ... as long as you understand the pain and possible result of a big battle like this one ??
I have been in this exact position myself .. with my misses now ( my second one)
When we first got together years ago she fell pregnant ... we both had kids already , but we decided to have one more together...
A few weeks went by and flamin hell I get an email of all things telling me ... no, she did not want to keep it ...
I went nuttttts.....
It took me a few days to deal with it in my head, but in the end I decided that I wanted her , with or in this case without with the baby ..
It friggin knocked me around heaps too mate ... I wound up taking her to the clinic , paying for the bloody thing ( the procedure ).... It was not a good day ..I tell you [:'(]
I have only one piece of advise that I can give you ..
Hard as this may sound ..
You are young ...at the end of the day , the girl right or wrongly gets to make the final choice .. If she has her mum as backup .. you will loose...
If you care for the girl , think ahead mate ... if you do not want to loose them both ???
It took me mths to get over the bloody shock , but you will get over it mate ..
As you guys are young, you will get the chance to have another baby later when it perhaps is more timely ...
It sucks , but you have to understand and do what is best in the long term I think..
You will and many that make comment will say ... take her to court ! ??
All you wind up with then is no girl ... a child that you will probably only see on occasional ( visits ) and many many years of heart break over the entire thing ..
(separated , pt time dad, some other guy perhaps looking after you child ) all not good either mate..
Some will say , yer but the kid still would be their for you to see and care for ( on weekends ect ) but is that really what you want ???
Again , as ****ty as things seem, support the girl if you care for her .. and help then you will at least get another chance at a later date in time mate ..

at this point all i can say is im sorry. if you believe in God as i and other's do, all you can do is pray for help, and comfort to get though this. unfortunately in this screwed up world we live in it is ok to have an abortion, and even worse, ok that the mother is the only one who decides.
