If it is like this now, how are the next 18 years going to be? Adoption is a possability.

I was20 and my first wife was 18 when we had our first child, we had 2 more after that and we lasted for 14 years. It has been the toughest time trying to raise children and not get help from anyone (never applied for assistance). She ended up being addicted to prescription drugs and I have had full custody since then. Im 39 right now and look almost 50 because of the hard times. It's not easy and not for all.

Have you or your girlfriend really lived life yet to put everythingon hold? ANyone can become a parent, Can you be a parent is what you really need to ask your self, are you ready to give up everything for this child? It's easy to say yes but it's harder to do it.

Good luck in your adventure hope the both of you can speak before irrational decisions are made that will haunt you for life. Im not a beiliver in god but there is no way I could look into my boys eyes and wish there were never born.

Your in for a battle now that her mom is taking control.....

well god doesn't exist, so you'd be wasting your time anyway. Don't do it. Think of the Rottweilers.
I'd love to hear you explain

oh, god exists alright...as gravity. And quarks. And gamma ray bursts.

Not the old white geezer western culture propagates...you can swear to that guy all you want. Not gonna help.

Stick it out lonewolf. You'll make it, with or without imaginary beings.

I really dont want to hijack this thread, it's sad enough
If you wanna talk about it, PM, otherwise dont post broad category statements of personal beliefs that no one (of ANY belief, even me) has stone solid evidence of as fact.
I'll go no further about this, the thread can continue in peace

RCR, i had stopped praying and what not...i had gotten pretty detached from God...and **** seemed to keep going downhill....i started praying again(recently) and things seemed to get better...until today....its crazy how she was telling all of her friends how she was pregnant just hours before she started sounding like her mother...i just want to hold her and tell her that it'll all be ok...but she won't want to hear that...i just want my child to live so that i can give it the life i never had...i have told myself and everyone else that i personally know that I am ready to be a parent...give all that i have to the lil bright-eyed child of mine, for those who believe in God....he wouldn't have let her get pregnant if it wasn't meant to be...he would have given her a miscarriage if it wasn't meant to be....not this abortion bull**** where man assumes the position of God....

I can't eat, can't sleep, can barely think....don't know what to do

God didn't impregnate your underage girlfriend, you did
You cant place all the blame on him, you made the choice to have unprotected sex with her. If you want me to go all out christian, I'd tell you sex is meant for marriage and pregnancy is too, in this form, it's corrupt (the act, not the child) and all that blah blah (you seem to at least be able to take the God stuff, that's why I incorporated it, I try not to push it). BUT, I'm 19, still a virgin, but im not pushing abstenance down throats cuz im not too sure i wouldn't given the chance.

However, it's a known fact
sex = babies
you cant say "its meant to be because she got pregnant" of course she's gonna get pregnant, it's not like God is up there saying "hey im gonna let them have all the fun they want, even outside of my will, and you know what, i'll even help them, i'll make sure she doesnt get pregnant"
It's your life, you make your decisions, you cant go around putting all the responsibility on God. Just as much as it is human action and choice to take life, it is human action and choice to conceive it.

I'm just trying to get you to see reason here, not trying to be harsh, I know you're going through a rough time and we're not always clear headed during those times

PM me and we'll talk further, I just really dont want to push the God issue on here because I know people have opposing beliefs and I respect that.

OMG wolfy I am soo sorry to hear of all this ... for what its worth I totally agree with you and life is so precious ... adoption has to be infinitely better than abortion ... you are also right about still achieving goals etc, where there is a will there is away ... I am not sure you can do anything about the situation if they are all determined and against you but I also think youre right about the fathers rights too, your country seems to treat fathers as second class citizens ..two people brought this child into the world and you should have equal say ..damn wolfy, I am so sorry!! :-(

...someone please give me a reason or convince me that this life is worth living....
Also whatever happens with this situation wolfy your life is always worth living ..you are young and if you leave life you are depriving yourself of a possible happy future with someone who truly loves you and a future child that would simply love his/her dad to bits ... this is a truly horrible place to be just now but you will get through it ... just hang on, stay calm and talk to us all here for as long and as much as necessary :-)

Yet you felt comfortable doing it twice.

dont post broad category statements of personal beliefs that no one has stone solid evidence of as fact.
Yet you felt compelled to write a dissertation telling someone what he should do, without having any personal experience to draw from. Sounds the same to me.

There's been no peace in this thread to begin with, only one man's agony. I'm sure he doesn't need a load of piety to go with it.

I, for one, have no experience or wisdom to help lonewolf. I can only say what I think...

Don't pray about it...act as responsibly as you can. Isn't that what any god would want you to do anyway?

Yeah, your "heart" sees fit to admonish the guy and point out the biology of baby-making as the problem. Congratulations on your stunning insight and untouchable holiness.
