Was on my way to my fave spot, and at a pace that would get you some 8x10 attention.

120...cop SUV...roll my eyes...start downshifting....looking in my rear view for the inevitable scene of lights coming to life and said SUV
making a quick U-Turn...

Didn't happen...

Pulled into my fave area...slowly...to have a smoke.

Still can see up the hill where I just was and had thought I was a goner.

12-15 kids on rockets come flying bye, about 80,...SUV gets one of the leaders.

I sat there shaking my head, smoking.

I eased on out of there...before he changed his mind if he saw me.

I think we all have those days.. I was turning onto a back road by my house very empty around 8-9pm there is a church on the corner that i hadnt noticed. And as i did said wheelie which is where i practice, i see there lights flicker i set it down and cruise on slowly to hope that they didnt come out..... That was the only time i thought about running it would have taken them some time to turn around and come outta the church.

Id say you had some luck just like me

Whatever it was...I'm home, bike in the garage..and not in a cell without a cig...and worrying about how my bike is being treated in the
impound yard.

I would not have run...thought crossed my mind, but only for a flash.

I got pulled over a long long time ago racing a BMW on an old Yamaha Virago 920.

Me and the car are neck and neck doing about a ton...

All of a sudden I hear sirens and look and it's a Bike cop...

I pull over...show him my license...admit what I was doing was pretty dumb.

He thought I was going to run.

He kept saying..."You didn't run, cause you knew I'd catch you"...smiling.

I say.."well"...

He says it again...and I finaly just say...

"It's stupid to try and outrun you guys, you can;t outrun a radio."

This seemed to deflate his ego...so...I just shut up...listened to what he had to say...and he let me ride off...
