The Mayan calender does not recognize the Gregorian calender, which we follow. They followed celestial movement, and it is going to end on Dec 21, 2012. Celestial bodies are going to line up on Dec 21, 2012 which marks the end of the cycle, of this Mayan calender. Leap year has nothing to do with the two calenders

the show "nostradamus effect" on the history channel recently (within the past year) changed their claims saying the world was going to end on this day, to there is going to be a new era. meaning there is going to be a revolution again. which is very well possible if we devote more time and money in the research of green technology. the entire world as we know it could change from using fossil fuels, to renewable resources.
so i'm leaning more towards the logical of the two perspectives lol

ALL of these twitts , were living in a time , there time , relative to themselves at that time and had only the information that they thought was " how it is " to them at that time ....

What do you expect from people centuries ago that even thought that flying was a bloody near act of god !! ...lol
I think I will go write a few prophecy's now , based on my limited knowledge of things in the 2100 century ....

Africans will suffer hunger in some parts ...
The world's weather is going to be some what ****ed up for years to come ....

Om sure that some ****ing planet is going to align with some of other ****ing planet and we will all be ****ed over real bad!!!! , prolly some where in the next 1,000,000 years .... or so
