I finally decided it was time to bight the bullet and upgrade from my F2 to an F4i. I found a lightly modified 2001 with around 20,000 miles on the clock. It needs some TLC. The PO dropped it and scratched the lower fairing on the right side. I will replace it but i just have to find a good one on flee bay.The fall also took a chunk out of the windscreen and did in the bar end. I have already ordered replacements. The bike is mechanically sound and was just serviced. The PO also tossed in a jacked and helmet for $2500. The jacked and helmet do not fit but, I plan on selling them on Craigslist.

 

love that color combo.. the gold wheels also set it off nicely.. some gold adjustable levers would compliment them too.. best of luck with it.. the F4i is one heckuva bike..

 

Gratz on the new toy.. Put whatever time and money it takes to fix her up.. Cuz she will be worth gold in your opinion the more you do

 

Silver and black is the best looking one, imo. Nice bike, man.

 

Welcome to the future! Haha. Even with the scuffs the bike looks good, +1 on what Trubulenz said, some gold levers would accent things nicely.

Some gold levers would look nice! Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it common on these bikes for the mirrors to be nearly useless?

 

yeah it is i always need to pull my elbows in to see behind me they work better on turns LOL.... i have considered bar end mirrors but sometimes i think they look awful......just my preference certain bikes it fits well

 

On the mirrors to be honest, I use them a fraction of the time and turn my head whenever safe. I've been thinking about deleting my current set and opting for convex type up near the main fairing plastics

How do you like the Remus exhaust? I haven't seen many of those around.
