Iridium vs Stock Plugs

What is the main difference between Iridium and stock plugs? I ordered 4 iridium plugs and they will be in tomorrow. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

from what i have been told they burn hotter so they stay cleaner longer, giving you longer life and should feel smoother as well.

Usually, Iridium spark plugs require less energy to run, they have a wider flame expansion and they give a better reponse and last longer.
