Not sure about in a four stroke engine but I've noticed no difference at all in my two stroke MX bike. I have changed back and forth from Iridium to the NGK "R" plug and now have settled on the "R". Just gotta get the right temp plug I reckon and you'll be okay. Personally I think you're waisting your money cause I also had the same life out of either type of plug. That's my experience (two stroke) anyway. Hope this helps your decision.

I use them in my zx10...and have in the f3 also,I dont like to replace the plugs on the 10 because there is so much crap you have to take off...so I use the best. They cost a little more but they ARE worth it!! try them you will like them....and plus easier starts also..

I ordered 4 of those for my F3 last week from JPcycles.com (had giftcard). I received a big box full of paper today with 1 plug in it...the other 3 are on backorder
