Ipod Or Zune??????
Creative has been above and beyond the ipod. They just dont advertise. I'm still rockin my Vision M. Creative players have better color/contrast by double and they support way more files than the ipod. Plus you dont have to convert them like you have to with gaypods.

iPod touch!........they get addictive very quickly.

Here's how I would look at it.
You have the iPod shuffle, nano, classic and touch. The touch (8 and 16GB) is pretty much an iPhone without the phone part (but gets addictive when you really start using it). The shuffle is a small 1GB iPod that you clip on yourself for running, exercising, etc. The nano is anywhere between 4-8GB and plays video/pictures/music. The classic has the larger hardrives (80 and 160GB sizes). If you are going to be running, jogging, or being rough with your iPod/MP3 player, I would AVOID all hard drive based devices.
But an option here would be to get either an 80GB or 160GB iPod classic for the car/trips/house, etc. And when you exercise and workout, use a shuffle for that. Shuffles only cost $79 bucks, and the classics start at $249. That would be a good combo.
But I'm the type that loves all those little James Bond-like gadgets, so I went with the iPod touch, naturally.
I consider myself to be very proficient with the iPod line (since I've owned just about every model that's come out.) So if you have any questions about them, let me know.

iphone. Haha. Ya, burn that battery up playing music/movies and then need to make an emergency call. LOL
My phone plays music/vids, but I just dont like to use it as that that much. I'd rather have an actual player for entertainment. Guess I need to sell my phone and get something cheaper.

Even if I did have at&t I wouldnt pay that much for eyecandy. My phone does the same stuff the iphone can and more.
I like to pay premium dollar for functionallity over eyecandy.
Not saying the iphone isnt cool, hell ya I'd use one if someone gave me one, but its people think its the future when its actually the past. There are older phones that do more than the iphone.

I got a Zune and I am happy with it since I do not own a mac I thought it would be dumb to buy a Ipod, plus I do not like the touch screen like creative has either. I would still rather not put all my eggs in one basket like a iphone at least if I break my razr I still have a mp3 player.I just don't see dropping that kind of money on a iphone unless you are a email'n fool and got a lot of important stuff to IM with your job then I can see spendin the grip. other than that don't get drunk and drop it in the urinal LOL
Here's how I look at it.
iPods are a lot like Microsoft Windows. There are more companies supporting Window than there is Mac, Linux, Unix, etc. Not to mention, just about every computer manufacturer uses Windows on their machines, which gets larger market share to dominate the market.
iPods has a similar thing going for them. They have the market dominated. There are more companies making programs, accessories, etc. for the iPod. And when was the last time you heard of an Dodge/Ford/Chevy/Audi/BMW that has a Zune/Zen/Sansa, etc. connector? None. Not many people have them. But just about every auto company has the option of the "iPod ready" interface for their cars. That's how dominating the iPod has become.
......and no, you don't have to own a Mac to have an iPod.

i own a 1st generation Shuffle a 2nd gen shuffle, and and Ipod Video.....ipod is the way to go.....plus less bugs than the zune....and much more widely supported. plus the zune is too big and bulky if your not even into videos. i only have the 30gb ipod video model and i have over 1000 songs and about 20 full length hi quality movies on it, and i still have 9GB left.
