Good luck bro, if the person who told on you doesn't show up to court, most likely it'll get thrown out just so you know.

You won't go to jail on a first offense shoplifting.. my friend stole a pack of cigs and got 6 months probation. I know an older fellow who was a cleptomaniac and got caught stealing like 5 packs of baseball cards and only got probation (his first offense also). You go to jail for felonies, not for misdimeanors. Especially on a first-offense. I got in trouble for posession and only got a fine. I wouldn't sell your bike considering a lot of courts are willing to work with people who don't have money and they can accept payments. Although if you do get a big fine it won't be but a few hundred dollars.

I guess you didn't read the entire thread, thats not the trouble i'm in, i wouldn't be worried if it was. They are trying to smack me with a felony version of attempt to alude, i know its normally a 2nd degree misdemeanor....but i guess this was an exception. I'm trying to get my life together, working(about to be) two jobs, no time for nonesense, and getting a half decent lawyer to show that i'm not about the bull****. Thanks for the kind words everyone, just seems like i'm breaking down regardless, but i have to keep fighting no matter what, maybe the judge will see that
