Congrats on passing the EMT exam!! Hope I never see you on a call...
What do you do? I just finished NREMT, I'm trying to get on with a transplant surgeon FT and work PRN with the ambulance. I hopefully one day (crossed fingers) want to go into peds cardio surgery. If I don't go all the way I will stay with emerg med. Be an ER doc.
Thanks guys, it's been great so far. As long as I can find a job. I haven't gotten any call backs yet but it hasn't even been a full week. We'll see how long it takes....

Let be back down on that medical crap from before. NREMT stands for National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. You have to take the EMT class once you pass that, you take what they call practicals, w.hich is hands on stuff lik.e strapping people to backboards. Then you take the National Registry test, it's a huge test you take on the computer. I hated it. Don't care now I passed!

Right now I'm tryin to get on with a transplant surgeon, I would work in the operating room doing whatever the doctor wants. He wants coffee I get it, he wants to be get music my job, he wants to be hold a lady's liver out of the way, yea that's my job too. So that should be fun.

Then hopefully down the road once I get out of school I want to be a surgeon myself. A pediatriccardiologist. That means I want to work on baby hearts. Li.ke newborns that are born with a bad heart.

One step at a time...Right...

I don't want to scrap any of ya'll crazy butts up off the ground!!!

Good luck with all of that!! It sounds lik.e you've got it all figured out. I'm sure you'll do great and working with children would be the most rewarding medical work that I can think of.

I'm 36 and I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up. Actually...I don't want to grow up at all...
