am so happy
A few days ago I posted a topic "Ok Im afraid" Basically was afraid of the fact that I was going to learn how to drive a bike by using my f4i as a guinea pig. Yesterday and today I went out with the bike alone, did approximately 60 km with the bike and thats in city traffic, no highways. As time passed I became more and more comfortable. Im still way far from taking turns at anything above 50kmhr.
Thanks guys for giving me courage. Now I feel strong enough to continue learning on the bike.
THANKS
Chris

Good for you! Glad to hear that you were safe and smart about it. As time goes by you will become more and more comfortable and just remember to drive defensively. Most cagers don't ever even see you and you need to always be looking out for them. Slow, smart and safe is your best bet! If you haven't taken a course, I might suggest that you do so... they can't hurt and you will probably learn alot. Good Luck!
Just remember that you become comfortable really quick but you still need to be weary of the ever present danger as well as your lack of experience. Have fun but don't over do it to quickly. Stay alert when riding and check your mirrors very often. Look through your turns and don't jab at the brakes or throttle....One more thing buy a bunch of gear that protects but is styling as well!!!
Just remember statistics show that most riders go down and for about 6-7 years they dont. Then they do again, you forget what you learn and get too comfortable. Your bike is like your woman, respect her or she will be a BEOTCH!
