So, after pulling the head off and doing a valve adjustment, my pinging didn't go away. So we are looking at pulling the block and rebuilding the engine now. Unless anyone else has any ideas. I am going to try and get a video of it to see if someone else can diagnose it before we get elbow deep in oil.

At least the riding season goes into January here in South Texas.

 

man ive been out for a few weeks as well the oil seal in my left for on the 929 gave out so ive had it sitting on a jack with no frt on it for about 2 weeks waiting on backordered parts that are now on there way it has really sucked because it has been beautiful over here. so good luck hopefully you get it all figured out!
