O God please stop talking until you can back that up with wisconsin law. here in cali you get a moving violation, you get points. period.

actually no a ticket for 14 over means no points on your license... 15 and up on the other hand means you do get points on your license

with any ticket i get in vegas i just go to court. they have a nice little system there (when im there) you go the first time just to plead innocent or guilty, which if you didnt notice the halo over my head - it's just sometimes it cant keep up with my speed. well they will set a court date with you to go infront of a judge (which alot more people, usually like 30-40 others) so you sit there for like another 2 hours waiting to get called (when your court date it up, which is like a month away) the judge will try to be fair, i mean they hear it ALL - ALL (i've heard it all and some of the sh*t i hear is so funny i like getting tickets to listen to people in the court house). But just plead no contest, which in terms means you are guilty but you are sorry for your actions. If you dont have any bad violations on you, she/he will usually reduce it to a parking violation and SOMETIMES make you take driving school (to reduce a point).
parking violations will not show up on your record nor to the judge, this is why when i get a ticket and fight the system - they only see like one ticket (i forgot to fight it so it became a point) but they are like "well i'll reduce it to a parking violations and you pay $55" or "well i'll reduce it to a parking violation and you need to take a driving school" (which is actually fun also)..
seriously, vegas just wants little by little money - they dont care about arresting you and sh*t, they got drug dealers and everything to deal with.
But to your situation, i would see what you can do with your court system - if it's anything like las vegas, you might be able to just bring it down to a parking violation if you just go thru the steps.. so what if your guilty, as long as you dont get that officer infront of you in the courthouse then your good.
I also had that happen once, this was in Idaho - i thought i could fight it, so i said i was innocent - so the court date was set and when i got there the officer and the judge was there, i was so unprepared and everything. but i just said "no contest" they still reduced me to a parking violation but i had to pay the full fine ($129 or some crap).
I'm not proud of my violations but in vegas - everyone drives over the speed limit, all cops have to do is wait in a parking lot and pull out the radar and BAM- 2 seconds later, they got someone. that's how bad it is there.
but i've seen so much worse then 15 over speeding..some lady went thru a school-zone (when it was a school zone) about 65mph and the zone is 15mph - she said her clock was wrong and didnt realize the time (sorry i laughed my *** off there, i felt bad because people started to look at me but that was a good bad excuse) and she got off with a $350 ticket and driving school. sad but true.
sorry for the stories but hey, i like to entertain [sm=smiley8.gif]

Damn naughty mike, that sucks!
You should have been funny and said that your life partner was riding away and you guys were playing cat and mouse. I bet if you can make a cop laugh, you wouldn't ever get a ticket for areasonable offense.
