Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery! You didn't walk away from this but you're still pretty much in one piece. As so many others have said, the bike can be replaced, not so with friends. Keep us in the loop.

lawyer up and protect yourself to make sure everything is fixed right.(medically and financially) I've heard horror stories especially around here in NH it's is perfectly legal to operate a motorvehicle without any insurance whatsoever.

Other than that I hope you are back to full health very very soon.

Sorry to hear that yumi.
Hope everything goes smoothly for you. I've had a broken ankle so i can understand what you're going through not being able to walk for a while.
Just don't let the driver get away with it.
They already blame too much on us.

Dang yum, that sucks. Hope you have a speedy recovery, but don't push it, let things heal. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

mmMmmm. yummy.

I finally got home from hospital today. Physical Therapists were happy too see that I can get around on walker and can manouver wheelchair good. 8 weeks of not putting one leg on the ground sucks. I am supposed to be out from work for that period.

on the way back from hospital, I saw two guys on bike and I was like drooling. it will be longer than 2 months for me to get back on the bike. but i do want to make sure all broken / fractured bones will heal nice and regain full strength and use of hand and knee.

yes, I do have another bike, but i won't be touching it for while

Glad to see you are out of the hospital and that a full recovery is expected. Could have been much worse.

Glad to hear you're doing so well so far Yumi! and that you still have that desire to ride. Can't break that.

Oh and Spicey - I'll take some poptarts too.
