Default I guess karma really IS a bitch!

So yea... yesterday I post up some videos of our kick *** rides up in the mountains during the long holiday weekend, and make all the northerners angry cuz their bikes are buried in 10ft of snow (LOL). Now this morning I go to leave for work... I put on the bottom part of my leathers and my boots, run outside real quick and start the bike up to let it warm up and turn on the grip heaters to let them warm up, and run back inside real quick cuz it was cold. I finish gearing up, pack my tankbag with all my daily goodies, and head out. I'm walking towards the bike and something doesn't look right.... it's sitting almost completely vertical! Ahhhh crap, I'd seen that before.

Sure enough, my month old rear Pilot Power was flat as a pancake [:@]

Ahhh well I guess it's good it's in the center, so I can patch it pretty easy. I'll just dismount it tonight and take it to work tomorrow and patch it up from the inside. Guess I must have got this while I was riding around x-mas day... I didn't even go far just tooling around town for about 30 min or so. Good thing it happened here though and not up in the mountains! I've had my tire spontaniously go flat on group rides before.... no fun! lol. I guess I'm cage bound for the next day or two... good thing it's supposed to rain this week anyways [8D]

Just thought it was kind of funny timing [sm=smiley36.gif]

I rode my bike tonight. The battery is toast and I have to push start it everytime I turn it off. But I washappy to ride for a change. It's been about 2 months of no riding for me and that's with spurts of kick *** weather in the 70s. Which was when my bike wasn't working.

I had a buddy with a F4i that had his headlights go outon his bike in the Mountains(Lived in South Atlanta) at night. He was a mile ahead of his group becuase he went to do some hard riding. Then it took them a few hours to figure out what was wrong. Which I think it was a bad wire because they changed fuses and bulbs.

The thermometer read 60 in the sun on Christmas Day...and that is in PA. Too bad I had too much crap to lug around to take the bike. Now it's raining...again.
