this summer i had a unwanted meeting with a rookie cop in my back yard,i was working on my bike and he walked back and told me a neibor filed a noise complaint. i was civil and polite i told him i dont know why my bike mostly at idle warming up. he got pissy and told me he will be giving me a ticket. i told him to go ahead and started taking pics of him by my bike with the stock exhuast in all pictures he started getting mad told me to put down my cell phone! i told him i needed pics for court because muffler and pipes are stock and d.o.t approved.he told me the noise laws are at his discresion and it does`nt matter what d.o.t. laws are? so i told him to leave or get someone with half a brain over here. ohoh back up came and they even thought what a little dick head.took my ticket to da and he tossed it out.now i just found this little ***** was let go from the police force if i see him at a piocnic or bar im going to kick his *** you gota love karma

I know a cop who carries all the time and has ever since someone he arrested recognized and followed him. Almost just like your story.

Why? Who gives a ****. In the end you didn't get the ticket and all was fine. Just move on. And I agree with the others, confronting a hot-headed ex cop probably isn't a bright move.

And another thing - a picnic?? How old are you 85?

think the picnic is an expression. Like the others said dont waste your time if you seem him in public because karma could come back to you in the long run. Just give him that F-off look haha

Yes, I don't think a hand gesture will qualify as "Assault".

And he was clearly wanting to be a cop for all the wrong reasons. His dreams are now dashed. Tisk, tisk.

Yar, there's good and bad ones. Just be happy that his superiors identified him as a bad one. Sounds like the system worked and you won in the end to me!
