Here in Ohio you only have to wear a helmwt if you have your temps or in your first year of having your endorsment-after that no helmet law. I still always ride with a helmet no matter what. I do not use the suit, but I do jeans with Icon feild armor shin/knee protectors, Feildshear textile jacket with hard armor, Joe Rocket gloves and a helmet.

I don't want rash or to get hurt, but at the same time to much geat just kills the enjoyment of riding.

Here in Oh 99 out of 100 HD riders wear no helmets-most sport bike riders do.

The good news is dealerships(around here)at least push gear as far as helmets and jackets go. Every person i know or meet who just bought a new bike has a brad new jacket he got at half price or free with the bike. and we got the helmet law too.

What makes me cringe and laugh at the same time, and i've seen this about 3 times since winter, is guys that scream around city streets and just generally show off, then you catch them at a red light and the back of their bike shows a big *** TAG APPLIED FOR.

Nah the funniest thing is the $500 helmets these guys are using as frame sliders. (straped to the back seat)
