Good job avoiding. My question is, why were you behind anything on a bike? My *** is always flyin by everything to get in the front.

 

I think you need to re-read his post there Black. He said the debris was from oncoming traffic... that means the cars that are coming towards you and not the ones travelling in the same direction!

Sometimes it's what come from under the vehicle in front that gets you. A pickup I was following down a two-lane cleared a dead deer. Fortunately I was in my car at the time because there was nowhere to go to miss it. Of course, had I been on my bike I would have been to the left and cleared it anyway. The story is that one stays several seconds behind the vehicle in front, or as I prefer, in front of anything that blocks one's view of the highway. And yeah, even in a cage I get nervous following a pickup or truck with stuff just laying in it.

 

In Mass., they're passing legislation that will up fines for crap like that. Should be assault and battery!
