St. Helens is a great ride.

Its a bit of a strech for you, but Hwy 20 is killer!

Hwy 20 is killer, I did the ride when I was up at Ft. Lewis, but St. Helens is a great ride.

Oh man, where to start. Being in Olympia you have a bit of a ride just to get to the ride. St. Helens wouldn't be that bad for you, could even come in from the south end in Cougar/Carson and take NF25 up to Windy Ridge, bit bumpy since it's a forest service road but it is paved. 101 is good for scenery, when you get up to the north end of it, gotta jump off and hit 112 and 113, then head over to Hurricane Ridge, which as of Monday was closed due to landslide, but a sweet well taken care of road. My best suggestion is to go to a site called Motorcycle Roads Northwest, have reviews, maps, some videos of all the good roads in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, categorized by twisty, sweeper, you name it, really good site to know what you would be in for when you head out. Of course 20 is good, I was just up there Tuesday, road up to Paradise at Rainier is good, other side of Rainier is Sunrise, also good. My biggest recommendation is if you can, do these roads on a weekday if you can, weekends are pretty clogged up with tourii doing 10 under the limit to take pics out the car window, and know where you are cause some of these places are a ways from gas stations, have to plan accordingly. Also a lot of these places are state parks, so you have to pay to go in and actually get to some of the better roads, it's only 5 bucks for a bike, just a heads up though. Safe journeys.
