Default Good places to ride?

Hey i am new to the NW with a bike and would like to know some good places to ride. Good back drop maybe even some good turns even. What is out there or even just a good place to ride in the first place. Doesnt have to be here in the NW. Hope this doesn't turn in to a dragons tail thread.

i lived in tacoma and seattle for a year and a half. beautiful spots are everywhere out there. I-5 up to seattle is fun (better coming back south...with rainier right in your face). olympic national park. beautiful. you can access it by hwy 101 which makes a full circle around the park just past olympia on exit 104. google hurricane ridge in the olympic range. mt. rainier. southern washington...you have spots where you can see adams, st. helens and rainier. country roads down there for sure...

the pacific northwest is a great place to be. got to be a little too much drizzle for my head, but i had a real good experience out there. enjoy riding august and september for sure...before the winter rains start rolling in.

i usually just pick a direction not a destination, every road leads to somewhere.
