The third one look a lot like a place a know in Hawai'i, except with much colder waters I would assume. Beautiful pictures. Here in Southern California we have so ravashed the natural beauty of the world that there is not a lot of places that look like that close by.

I thought it was ALWAYS cloudy and rainy in England?

But here is a picture of my bathroom... I can see the TV from the Shower, the bath, the bidet, andthe throne.

No Tommy...that's a perception...we get all the seasons here and don't forget we have a North and South too...

I will admit I could never live up in cold rainy Scotland, although when it snows there it's truly beautiful...

The South however is totally different...yes there are horrible rainy places like Manchester but the rest is pretty normal mixed bag stuff plus we get heatwaves too...we had one in 2005, that was SO hot for a couple of months, just too hot to ride.

Our normal summers are not bad at all, lots of lovely sunny and warm/hot days...of course with periods of rain but I kinda like the breaks from the hot days too...

I love the spring here...it's perfect riding weather, we seem to get really nice springs...dry, quiet, warm sunny days, not too hot ...in fact perfect for riding and for those days I disappear on my own, just me, the bike and my camera... :-)

I may not like our system and taxes over here but this rock, this island...it's my home and there are truly beautiful places here that many folk don't realise...

I remember that when I was in London (1978) that we had great weather and people would say to me that it ALWAYS rains here, when it is sunny we all leave work for a few minutes and go outside. I guess that was 'British Humor' and they were goofing on the Yank, now I am glad I stopped up a few toilets (loo or water closet to you) when I was there, that'll teach them.

By the way, you guys have awesome cab drivers.
