Default good insurance carrier?

I need some insurance for my bike and car. I had car insurance through my mom but she is given me the boot soon.

i am 21 with a few tickets and fenderbenders to my name, so i am wondering which company isnt going to make me pay out the *** for coverage?

Gville,

Check out Progressive. A little on the pricey side but they take care of their customers.

OR

State Farm. If you can get insured with State Farm go with them.

State farm is good. Watch out for Mcgraw, and i think progressive too. Even though may be cheaper, if you crash they are harder to deal with and will pick apart your bike to do the least amount of work needed to fix it. A really good way to determine which is a really good insurance..go to your local big dealership and talk with a service advisor. Ask him which are best to deal with, which cover more and allow the tech to make the repair decision, instead of sending some pencil pusher looking to saving as much as possible and removing all parts he thinks aren't part of the crash, even though it may be damaged.
