in the local classified there was a 2000 F4 that had 12,000km and "minor" damage from falling in the driveway and they wanted $8,000 lol.
Worst one I could find so far didn't a 2006 F4i retail for $8,500 5 years ago?:
2006 Honda CBR - Oshawa / Durham Region Sport Bikes For Sale - Kijiji Oshawa / Durham Region Canada.

and people think that new exhaust that they bought a few years ago is still worth retail. and i like how they show you what they paid for it and add it into the price. its just like when people buy a brand new car and they drive it off the lot its not worth what you paid for it. but 7 out of 10 bikes i see for sell is way over priced

ive noticed the same thing. id never pay over 3500 for any bike i dont care what it is. i love riding more than anything, but 10k for a new liter bike is insane. i know theres no way in hell it costs over 5k after all expenses from manufacture to dealer. american greed really pisses me off.

When I was shopping for Ororo, I titled every email "$4k cash today for your bike". The guy I got her from had her listed for $5.5k I think. It may have been what meggers said though:
His wife answered the email and said yes. The hubby didn't enter the picture till we had to work out me coming to see it and he bumped it to $4.5k (kbb value for an immaculate bike with that many miles). When I saw her, I couldn't argue anything (though I shoulda argued the price of tires)
