Changed the oil, cleaned and lubed the chain, and fixed the busted headlight bracket. Just have to put it all together again.

Broke down the carbs and ran them through an ultrasonic cleaner. Man, the junk that came out is the YUCK!

So you've peaked my interest here Kuro... I saw you said you used simple green but... where'd you get the ultrasonic cleaner and what did it run you? I've been thinking about tearing my carbs down for a good clean/sync/tune and putting a stage 1 kit in... this would definitely be a nice thing to do in the process.

Got it at Harbor Freight for $59. Was on sale last week but its $79 this week.

The 2.5l isn't large enough to handle the carbs as a set so I had to separate them. Getting the throttle linkage springs back in correctly is a pain in the ***. Worse than the throttle cables. When I get some more cash (and a garage) I'll invest in a bigger one. But seeing the gunk and deposits in the cleaner when done makes me think this will work fine.

lookn forward to the pics. i finally got the old crank to pop and spin. it took for ever to get the fuel through the empty lines, filter and pump. and fill the carbs that have been empty all winter. still think i might have an electrical issue. i fired it and ran it in short intervals. wanted to hit the road but it was dark. light is not wired yet. and i have no main stay on it. in all my haste to get it together i some how over looked ordering one. so i guess this weekend will be spent making one.
