I mounted the speedo healer button, well a button I also bought at radio shack, to the front of my tank cover. You can't see it and if you look for it, it blends in and looks like it was there from factory.

You have room on both sides of the tank. If I ever get the chance to do the garage door thing... I'll add a button on the other side for mine.

That's about the size of the remote I had, but I didn't like it on my keychain.

Actually, this is the exact remote I had:

It is 12 volt, so that worked perfectly. I'm going to try and get to finishing up either tonight or tomorrow. I'll post some pics when I get done. I didn't get pics of the circuit board or soldering connections before I waterproofed it - but you'll get the idea.
