hey guys, i was wondering if any of you have tried to rig up a way to put a waterproof garage door button on your handle bar? yes i know, i am that lazey , this was one of my ideas, mount a garage door opener under my seat, then get a choke cable and run it under the tank with all the other wires. then mount it where you cant see it. and when you push in the cable it hits the button and opens the door. yes that is way to redneck so i wont be doing that, but if anyone has a idea that is nice and neat let me know

Or if you might be able to go to Home Depo, Lowes or Sears and get a key fob sized remote that you can velcro under your front uppr front fairing where you can reach it safely while approaching your garage. That's what I did and it works fine.

 

I just got a key chain ( looks like an alarm button ) garage door opener.

 

where do you get the key chain, and do they offer them for all brands of garage door openers?
